Major Lazer are duo DJ’s that consist of Diplo & Switch. They’ve been bringing some of the better dancehall and 2-step music to the scene lately. Diplo, is from Philly, and Switch from Birmingham proved the point that they can bring some good dance music.
We saw them at the Electric Factory over last summer for their CD release party and it was sweet. We got to meet Diplo & Switch and they were real cool. During that show too, we even talked to A-Trak. The show was pretty much a huge party. Barcardi was giving out drinks and things.
Anyways, Major Lazer has their recent album Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do, and they’re coming with a new EP. I know this might be old new’s but from what Diplo said from his twitter and Mad Decent have been saying, it’s official. This track features M.I.A. and Busy Signal. No offense, Pon de Floor is good but don’t kill it. This track is good.
