I typically don’t watch mtvU much but on a rare occasion, I’ll flip through the channels and find something interesting. I turned on the tv and noticed something very familiar. I was like “This isn’t bad…Wait, I know this instrumental. It’s Futurecop! Theophilus London was a recent find on mtvU that sampled the song “NASA” from the group Futurecop. He’s a NYC based electronic and hip-hop rapper. It’s surprising to see that he sampled this and it’s pretty sweet because I liked the song NASA to begin with. There’s no need for comparison with other hip-hop artist’s around. Not going to lie, his material is good.
